 Who is 'ERK' ?
I am a 32-year old university student from Denmark. I am a business school graduate
in general computer sciences, and as such I know how to program - something
which I, naturally, make use of at this web-site, which employs Java Server
Pages, JavaBeans, JDBC- and SQL-programming and much more.
My name is actually Erik, as I also write under my contact information, so
what is the story behind 'ERK'? The explanation is that the domain 'erik.dk'
was unavailable, so I had to think of something else to call my web-site. As
some of my friends sometimes shorten my name to the nickname 'Erk', I thought
it would be a good alternative - especially since 'ERK.dk' is shorter and as
such, easier to remember.
If visitors want to know more about me and my interests and hobbies, I
suggest that you look through the different sections of this web-site. This
does, however, not apply to my interest in karate, which I myself practice
actively.
If I were to give some words of wisdom which at the same time manage to describe
the kind of person I am, I would say that one should judge others by looking
at their actions and not their words. Mere promises and good intentions are
just like horoscopes: basically useless.
